Warming Up Your Logo: How to Create a Plush Texture with ComfyUI?

Step One : Install the Plugin

Method One :

Download and unzip ComfyUI_Comfyroll_CustomNodes (opens in a new tab)、ComfyUI-Advanced-ControlNet (opens in a new tab) 、comfyui_controlnet_aux (opens in a new tab) 、ComfyUI-Custom-Scripts (opens in a new tab) into the ComfyUI\custom_nodes directory, or use ComfyUI's Manager to install this plugin. Method two :

If you are using Comflowy, you can search for and download ComfyUI-Advanced-ControlNet on the Extensions page on the left, or drag it into the workflow for one-click installation.

Step Two : Download the Model

Controlnet model ：

• control_v11f1e_sd15_tile.pth (opens in a new tab): The core function of this model is to complete details. It can ignore defects in the original image and supplement it with new details, thereby enhancing the quality of the image.

• control_v11p_sd15_lineart_fp16.safetensors (opens in a new tab)：This model is specifically used for processing line art or similar image processing tasks. In this workflow, it can extract line drawings from the original image, facilitating subsequent coloring of the line art.

• t2iadapter_color_sd14v1.pth (opens in a new tab)：This is a workflow that can generate cool ice-style icons, suitable for gradient, single subject, solid color logos.

Lora model ：

• fur coat set (opens in a new tab)：This is a very cute fuzzy ball style LoRA, recommended to be paired with VAE: vae-ft-mse-840000-ema-pruned. Recommended weights: 0.8 to 1, recommended steps: 20 to 30.

二、Demonstration of Effects

When a logo transcends traditional flat graphics and is no longer a cold, rigid figure, but instead presents a warm, soft, and tactile fluffy appearance, it not only captures the attention of customers visually, but also resonates with them on an emotional level.

Thanks to the control_v11p_sd15_lineart_fp16.safetensors (opens in a new tab) model's extraction of line drawings from the original image, when text appears in the image, it can also be accurately identified, making it easier to apply texture.

When I upload images with bright colors, the t2iadapter_color_sd14v1.pth (opens in a new tab) color rendering model can render the generated images with the color effects of the original image.

三、Plush toy

I also found that it does a good job of transforming flat cartoon characters into a plush toy texture. When cartoon characters leap off the screen and become a tactile, cozy plush toy, this not only attracts children's attention but also awakens the childlike heart in adults.

To better match the colors of the original image, I described the character's clothing and colors in the prompt words. I recommend that the best effects are achieved at a step value of 30 and a cfg of 8.

四、Frozen style

Additionally, I also tried logos with gradient styles. It can be seen that when the background is white or another solid color, the color of the logo does not have a significant impact on the final effect.
